It's a payback for helping get net neutrality passed , which saved netflix billions.
Obama had zero experience in the field, yet got $65 million to create content. He will no doubt make a few things, to downplay the bribe aspect of it.
Of course, he won't pay a dime to produce any of it, write it, appear in it, but he'll yap about it.
