I've seen schools fluctuate 50+ spots in the USNWR rankings

in a single year, when they've changed their ranking methodology. There are ways to manipulate your ranking based on the methodology, just as companies do with SEO (search engine optimization) based on SE algorithms. Some schools take it more seriously than others. Mizzou should probably start doing that as its ranking has consistently fallen over the past 20 years.
With that said, Creighton is ranked slightly higher in USNWR's national university rankings. Creighton actually made its debut as a "national university" in 2019, previousy being classified as a midwest university.
I think MU's engineering school is ranked higher than Creighton's though, but I'm not sure.
Again though, this is all according to USNWR's ranking methodology. I'm confident you would actually get a much better education (and a more valuable degree) from MU than Creighton.
It's also worth pointing out that Creighton isn't a member of the prestigious AAU, like Missouri is.
