I am not sure our LB's are better than last year. Bolton could be, but showed some real lapses on plays last year. Hall is going to be tough to replace as an every down player.
I think it comes down to the fact they feel good about the DLine play stopping the run, forcing more predictable 2nd down plays, and adding speed and playmaking to the secondary.
I think where we will struggle is getting pressure without a blitz package.
One area where we improve, is forcing turnovers. It will also help to have a balanced offense where control more of the ball.
I'm optimistic, but if we go into a game where we are getting gashed quickly, can we adjust on the fly? I don't know if that will happen in a crucial game.
