i don't really think anyone cares what Obama's grade

point average was or his grades at all really. most people think Obama to be a fairly bright guy and even most Trump supporters would probably agree that Obama is "smarter" than Trump.

the controversy over Obama's college records was not about his grades it was about whether or not he ever claimed to be a foreign student. personally, I don't think either Trump or Obama should have to release their transcripts but if numerous people were claiming I had applied as a foreign student or accepted grant/aid as a foreign student I would probably go ahead and authorize the college/university to release my application to prove that wasn't the case.

and as far as I know, there was never any effort to promote Art of the Deal that claimed Trump was born overseas as there was for Obama.
