Perhaps "embrace" is too strong a term. However they are absolutely willing to tolerate what is abhorrent in both their idol and their ranks.

That Hannity would put that out there is telling. Funny how fast Trump was to try to walk away from what he started and encouraged. THAT tape might well show up in the 2020 campaign.
