He cannot be ashamed about what he says, because he doesn't believe most of what he says.
I can't say that he is dead to me, like The Idiot is. The Idiot, whom I will not read beyond the subject line (except by accident, which happens) or reply to.
With JV, I would say he is moribund to me. Dying, but not dead. Going but not gone.
He is not worth the time, effort, and energy to read and reply.
There will likely be times however when I cannot resist the temptation to abuse the weakling. Oh well...
