against mediocre teams; pretty mediocre stats against the good teams. Dude had a good line the past 2 years, good skill guys, and pretty much underwhelmed me. He's got to get A LOT better to sniff success in the NFL.
With all of that said, he's a better pro prospect than Bryant, who may get a look as an UDFA. However, I believe Bryant is a better college QB and I think we'll see that this year. His athleticism and running will be something like we haven't seen since Mauk.
Bottom line I'd take Chase Daniel over any of the modern "Pinkel" QBs (sans Bryant since he hasn't played yet) for the college game.
