When Lombardi first took over the Packers he used to chew out Bart for his mistakes all the time.

Bart went in and told Lombardi if he was going to lead the team Lombardi could not denigrate him in front of the guys all the time. Vince agreed and success followed

Read that in the Lombardi book and Starr said it too
