Since SS COULD be run sustainably in various ways, why not instead call for that as a preferred solution?

Part of that solution, IMO, would involve the education system actually teaching kids something about money, how to use it, and how NOT to use it in their personal lives. A few of them will actually catch on. Most of the rest can spend old age in penury and poverty.
