They were the two most vulnerable softball seeds in the conference.
LSU is already down 4-0 to Texas Tech in the first inning. As poorly as they have hit recently, it’s going to be tough to come back from that, although TTs pitching is not their strength.
And Ole Miss is down to ULL 2-0 in the 6th innings.
Kentucky whipped an over rated Virginia Tech team 8-1. And Tennessee is handling Ohio St 6-2 in the 6th inning. OSU went with their ace Ray all the way yesterday, and started her again today, apparently not trusting ex Mizzou pitcher Lauren Rice. Rice is finally in in the 6th inning facing a big deficit.
