I certainly don't know for sure but I imagine a stadium is a little different than at lot of other assets.

I seriously doubt a University athletic program can depreciate a stadium the way that somebody might depreciate rental property or how a factory might depreciate production equipment.

So no, I don't really have an answer for you other than to say that I really don't think depreciation accounting is the issue right now.
