and is she likely to contribute next year and be at least as good as Norman, who graduates?
I don’t know, but would appreciate someone closer to the team answering this question. Certainly the coaches have been around her long enough now to have an idea if she can contribute significantly next year or not. Is she in fact an SEC caliber pitcher? What does anyone here know about that? The answer could be critical to the teams success next year.
All I know is the broad outlines of her story, highly rated coming out of high school in Illinois, Hardly pitched at all her freshman year at Minnesota, transferred to Ok State, threw a few innings in fall ball but then nothing in the regular season. Were there injuries? Just got pushed aside by better pitchers?
To keep improving next year we need her to be an SEC caliber pitcher, and/or for at least 2 of the incoming freshman to be the same, and/or to get at least one ace caliber transfer.
