Ago. He was able to catch lightning in a bottle the year we went to the Final Eight with DeMarre, but was trending down when he left. There is basically zero chance he would ever have taken us to the Final Four, much less win a NC. His staff was always ridiculously poor and he never made any connection to the community in Columbia. He wasn’t bad. Not a great recruiter but identified some undervalued talent. Much better than KA. We likely would have made the NCAA a couple times after he left.....Would have been fired or left for Tulsa as Haith did....
