You are right, a team that can lose to an IUPUI and Pitt can’t take any team for granted. Our pitching, despite Norman and Gasper and Daniel (only in relief situations, not as a starter!) having greatly exceeded my expectations, just isn’t dominating enough to start some of the usual bench in any game.

Although the players den mentioned to me are all quality players and have performed well this year (Torres, Garrison, Rabbe, George). We don’t lose much at all if one or two of them are in the game, particularly with Martin struggling and apparently not 100%. Just wouldn’t start all of them, that would take too many key contributors out of the lineup.

And yes, SEMO is no pushover. We should beat them twice, but I bet at least one game is going to be kind of a struggle. We need to keep the hammer down now and finish as strong as possible. It could be the difference in the regional we get sent to, although geography and who gets those last 4 national seeds will be a bigger factor.
