.... the exact same day that he knew Michael Flynn was later scheduled to have a discussion with Russia's US Ambassador, Sergey Kislyak.
The same Obama... that was spying on Trump, instituted phony sanctions hours before a conversation between the new United States National Security Advisor to the Trump White House, and the Russian ambassador.
Flynn was in the exact same position as Susan Rice and the Obama administration was "supposedly" helping Trump's transition team.... people like Flynn.
Parts of the call were illegally leaked.
Flynn to this day still insists that they didn't really discuss sanctions.

Sergey Kislyak no doubt asked about the sanctions, as it happened only hours before, and Flynn may have been the only US govt official he had even been able to talk to about it.
Flynn said nothing more than "we'll worry about it later"
Flynn wasn't lying when he said he didn't talk to the ambassador about sanctions. He did not. The ambassador wanted to talk about it, and Flynn deflected it as he should have.
That is why he wasn't charged with lying or perjury.
He was charged with "making a false statement to the FBI" - because they consider Flynn's statement to Sergey Kislyak to wait to discuss until they get into office a discussion.
You see... illegal spying.
Total setup.
No crime committed except by the swamp.
And Michael Flynn's life was destroyed and he was arrested and charged over semantics.
