Forgive my math if it's a bit off, as I did it somewhat hastily, but saying Bieser has not been an upgrade over Jamieson seems a rather uneducated statement. During his tenure as an SEC head coach, Jamieson compiled an overall record of 94-123 (.431 winning percentage) at Mizzou. During those seasons, Mizzou had a record of 40-79 (.336 winning percentage) in SEC play. Jamieson had one season with an overall winning record while a member of the SEC, and finished that season with a .500 record in SEC play. In 2+ seasons at Mizzou, Bieser has an overall record of 85-54 (.611 winning percentage) and a record of 28-38 (.424 winning percentage) in SEC play; his teams have yet to finish a season with a .500 record in SEC play. In both full seasons at Mizzou, Bieser has finished with winning records and over 30 wins. So, in short, Bieser's teams have an overall winning percentage which is .180 higher than Jamieson's teams and an SEC winning percentage which is .88 higher than Jamieson's. It's no secret that Bieser's team have had their flaws (specifically on offense), but to imply he's not an upgrade over the previous regime seems an inappropriate statement.
