experience regarding a herniated disc. I went from being able to dunk a ball to not being able to touch the bottom of the net. I quit basketball and started distance running.
I'd say whether or not he returns 100% depends on the nature of the injury. If it's a herniated disc a physical therapist or chiropractor can help but might not return to 100%.
