Driving on the highway listening to the Early Show when Orlando Franklin talked about how the Broncos moved on from Lock because they didn't want another Paxton Lynch scenario. Had to pull over and clean up the coffee!
Then Mike Prichard comes on next and talks about how stacked CU was when they were in the 1990 championship season - with mulitple sets and multiple backs. I emailed the show about multiple downs.
Lastly, on a positive note, they speculated that the Broncos would keep Shane Ray and move him to inside linebacker and let him work with the new head coach, Vic Fangio.
Talk radio here is not a fan of Lock. The consensus is that they need defensive players and I agree. I just wish they wouldn't try to justify their positions by trashing Lock..the main one being "if he was so good, why didn't he come out last year?
Ah, I feel better.
