And I know strange things happen early in the season, ranked teams suffer inexplicable upsets. With some exceptions of course, it’s hard to know how good a win is or how bad a loss is until teams get 20-25 games into the season, and get in a good mix of solid competition to compare.
But after all the uncertainty here, and then the amazing start on Friday, it would have been a long plane ride home had we lost 3 very winnable games in a row to close out the weekend and turned a potential 5-0 or 4-1 start into a 2-3 weekend.
With SEC play looming in a month or so, this team has got to get as far above .500 as possible in non conference play.
