I quickly grew tired of worrying about my mother and her church friends going to a Ferguson church-run food pantry to volunteer (at a denomination other than their own church) and getting blocked on the roadways because it's easy to target and intimidate elderly white women.
But I'm the racist for calling that bullshìt out.
Or my mother's own black pastor getting called an Uncle Tom by another pastor from Ferguson because he chose to minister to the police officers who were getting cursed at and spat upon night after night and needed some spiritual support.
But I'm the racist for saying "enough".
