There’s a saying in sports many have heard. It’s sometimes not the X’s and O’s, but it’s the Jimmies and the Joe’s. That’s my opinion of the game yesterday.
South Dakota has a very good, very talented team. They probably have 6 players that would be in our top 10. At least two of their players would start for Mizzou.
They controlled what we wanted to do on the inside pretty much all the time. We should have been better against their zone defense.
Until (if) we solve our offensive problems South Dakota would beat us 8 out of 10.
