maybe have reasonable integrity. But if they want a career there, as surely they do, then trying to make big changes, especially in party dogma, will NOT ensure that career. They will be shunted aside and never heard from on any committee or any proposed bill. So the voters, in their infinite wisdom...uh, stupidity... will say hey, this guy ain't doing squat in Washington. Ain't voting for him again.
