to cite for optimism. We were 13-1 and ranked #9 that season, before falling apart to finish 23-10 and fall entirely out of the rankings, then were essentially non-competitive against Cincinnati in our first round NCAA tourney loss.

In a 5 year period of generally very good basketball from 2009 to 2013 that was probably actually the low point.
