Game start times on weekdays

Why do they start games at 6pm? Just curious why they can not push it back to 7 for all the weekday games to give us folks out here in KC and or STL that want to come to a game a chance to make it when most people do not get off work until 4-5. Not complaining. Just curious. We were going to attend the game but we wont be able to make it in time thru rush hour etc... If the game started at 7 there would be 2 more people in the seats. Oh well. I am sure it has something to do with TV schedules and such.
