They set the tone early that the Chiefs were not going to be able to pass defend, so that opened up the passing game from there on out for the Rams. It was the smart tactic given the crew, and it wasn't the type of game where controlling the clock would have worked. The Chiefs would have simply ran away from them on the scoreboard had they tried to run him alot.

But they certainly abandoned the run and were largely ineffective when they did try to run.
