situation?

For example, say a person was on a sell side analyst team for a firm that was also going to do a secondary offering and some of the commercial banking folks wanted to talk to the analyst about a common company. Could the analyst say "sorry bros but I'm going to have to recuse myself and go get a private lap dance while you discuss them"
