that there was probably some guy with a Phd in stochastic processes with and emphasis in queuing theory working for McDonalds creating markov chains to model the effects on wait time and revenue.


Some dude probably thought he was going to revolutionize some as of yet unanswered probabilistic process ended up calculating nuggets bought per queued car rates.
