we are literally one ace pitcher away from being in the top half of the conference and in the conversation to host a regional.
The 64k question is, is that person on the current roster for 2019? Or do we have to wait until 2020. Time will tell.
I don't think we are necessarily doomed to finish last in the SEC again and barely scrabble out a .500 season. But it may be an uphill battle. Need to see significant improvement from several of the returning pitchers, and maybe a pitching by committee approach gets us a decent season.
