Another highly touted player coming in with this class, Schumacher is currently ranked 87th on the Extra Innings Softball Extra Elite 100 list, and was also named a USA Elite Select 30 First-Team All-American in 2016 and 2017. She was also highly decorated at the state and regional levels, as she was named All-League in 2016-18, All-Section in 2017-18 and was named All-State in 2018. Schumacher chose Mizzou over Georgia, Boston College, Minnesota, Hofstra and others.
