normal, I guess you'd say. We were certainly not slow.
Playing fast is about having superior athletes. Playing slow is about hiding your deficiencies.
Back when MA was here, there were a few TBers who related his style to the spread in football as a way to overcome a talent deficiency. They had it all completely backwards. Princeton used to upset big boys by grinding them to a halt, not by trying to outrun them.
For this team to be successful, a slower tempo with fewer possessions is probably the way to go unless some of the freshman just blow us all away.
