And Odoms aren't comparable.

Odom has some very good talent on his teams. Lock, Moore, Hall, Witter, Perkins, Johnson, Frazier, Sherrils, Cheadle, and a slew of Olineman

These are all players that can play at a D1 level and some of them are or will be in the NFL.

How many players like this did Pinkel inherit?

At one point GP had us as one of the most winningest programs in college football, won multiple division titles.

2) before coming here he had HC experience. Not only that, he had a high level of winning at his previous school as well...so there's some faith built in there.

And, after 2005, go look at how many players he brought in that had the criteria above. He was beating out schools like the ones mention for recuits. He didn't win all that time, but he won some good battles.
