I got a letter in the mail trying to raise funds to save Truman wrestling about a week before the Sterk interview. The interview that gave us a reason to discuss budget problems. My comment that wrestling likely supports itself from huge camp attendance saves itself from being the obvious cut.

I’m hoping for winning football that will bail out the athletic department and make this budget talk a moot issue.
