But the way she carried herself this season and how she represented the university, I hope she gets a shot somewhere at a smaller program where she can get some experience. She's earned a shot somewhere, just not at a P5 conference school, not yet at least. Although, having said that, there are a number of P5 teams that could do a lot worse than her. Best of luck to her in the future.

I wonder if there is any chance the new head coach might retain her. Most new coaches will bring their own staff with them but you could make a case for continuity sake that having her stay and move back to an assistant position might be a good move. She clearly has a great relationship with the players, could ease the transition to a new coach, and maybe prevent some transfers.
