In the resumption of the suspended game Sunday:
Burnside came to bat in the 5th inning with runners on 1st & 2nd with no outs & the Tigers with a one run lead & she tried to sacrifice. In this game & the previous game she was 4/5 with a HR & two doubles. And she's trying to bunt????
Tigers lead by one going into Tulsa's at bats in the bottom of the 6th. Pierce had batted in the top of the inning so her next AB was eight batters away. Why in the world would you not sub in your FAR AND AWAY best defensive catcher, Moore for the sixth and seventh innings?! Good grief. And if Pierce's spot in the order had come up again (which it didn't) simply reinstall her in the game.
