innings and we get her a few runs, then she continues on against OU and goes as far as she can. It's not a big deal. The OU game, if we get there, will likely be a 5 inning affair.
And no, there are no good options after Rice, although Norman IMO is far and away the next best option as opposed to the other 3 pitchers, who are simply not SEC caliber in any sense of the word. It's a tough situation to be in.
Here's hoping we get a high profile coach who will bring an ace or two along with him/her, and/or also get out there and attract a few more experienced, current D1 transfers who can compete at a high level in the SEC. Going the D2 and NAIA route was a complete failure.
