not for basketball related reasons but I certainly expected him to become a difference maker. Jason Conley too never materialized into the player I thought he was going to be. It happens.
The biggest variable for assessing players under Kim is that they didn't play hard and were operating without any real expectations and accountability. You just had to look for different criteria than what they were actually producing. Assessing based on production was a worthless exercise in that era.
