baseball players are all engineering and science majors. Most of them are usually quite dumb. It’s a simple kids game with simple rules and they’ve been playing it all their lives yet most of them are constantly confused by the simplest challenges on the base paths. Defend them all you want. But the honest truth is they’re just not smart.
