EE is also from the area which I'm sure you know. A lot of people don't like him, as seen on this board. I'd say that plays a little bit into it, growing up here.

In general about the players running off. EE tells recruits/parents that he is firm, upfront, straight forward, expects excellence, etc. I don't think recruits realize that until they are not performing individually and EE lets them know about it.

I wish Doug Gillis was still on the staff.
