about the officiating in last years game here that she contacted the SEC office to complain that 2 of the same refs were scheduled for the game yesterday too.
Frankly, the officiating yesterday was pretty bad. But I thought it went both ways. Many bad calls and non-calls alike. For all the complaining about Sophie's rough and tumble style, she was completely run over by an SC player in the first half and they called a foul on Sophie (her first). One of the worst calls I've ever seen.
The rematch is going to be rough. SC folks are really incensed about the game yesterday, the officiating in general, and Sophie in particular. It wouldn't surprise me to see the SEC step in and talk to both coaches before that game and to have extra staff to monitor on site. Staley is absolutely going to go off if any of the refs from yesterday get assigned to the Jan 28 game.
