The seats are closer at Mizzou Arena, the incline/pitch is greater at the Hearnes Center. That being said if your preference is for each row to be taller, you may like the Hearnes Center better from a matter of owning lower seats. Additionally the walkway between the scorers table and seat exists.
But you are VERY wrong about noise. Both venues get intimidatigly loud with a proper crowd and our team playing well. Think the difference in noise has more to do with corporate seat holders that don't show up. Many many more seats are no longer owned by locals. If we had people in good seats who lived in town and attended games night after night we could greatly improve the atmosphere.
