at his new university to be eligible as a DI transfer. He’ll need a JUCO degree to be eligible at the beginning of next season.

Without a JUCO degree he could transfer in for 2nd semester, but couldn’t play until 2nd semester of next season. And would have to pay his own way because Mizzou is out of scholarships for this season.

See, for example, the Wes Clark saga. He doesn’t get to play until 2nd semester at Buffalo.
