Schweizer's time of 19:56.5 was just 15 seconds off her 6k personal record time of 19:41.6, which she set at the 2016 NCAA Championships.
We competed hard today on both sides at Oklahoma State," said Mizzou Cross Country head coach Marc Burns. "Karissa got things rolling up front for us with another spectacular performance. I have not seen an official course record, but Coach Smith (Oklahoma State) does not remember anyone breaking 20 minutes before. Megan looked strong throughout the race and gave us another single digit stick. Jenna continues to learn and grow from meet to meet. We are very happy with our effort and it was nice to beat Oklahoma State on their home course."
