At the heart of this Sterk needs to figure out why this team

is not "playing hard."
He may very well already know. However is it....
a) because they don't respect Odom?
b) because of an internal infection of guys that "don't
want to be here" leftover from 2015 or whatever?
c) because of not talent enough? (Sometimes teams that "think" they are good end up looking like they are giving up because they "think" all they have to do is show up and Purdue or SMS or whoever will just roll over and die for them). In actuality they are just getting beaten by better talent.
Whatever the answer is, Odom is not part of the future. He clearly doesn't know and if it's "b" which it likely is, he's part of that group that Sterk needs to finesse out of the program. Because firing Odom won't do much if Sterk does not find out the answer to this question.
