18th all time in D1 wins. 11 of the 12 guys behind him are no longer active. Calipari is 67 wins behind him, so I think its reasonable he will surpass him.

Next closest guy is Rick Barnes, who is 110 behind, and I would consider it unlikely given his age and state of Tenn that he surpasses Norm.

So that makes the next closest guy Bill Self. If Calipari eventually pushes Norm down to 19th, it would be kind of ironic if eventually Norm is pushed out of the top 20 all time by a jayhawk. I think this article is correct though. About the time the Big 12 falls apart and ku is left out of being a major conference program I suspect Self will look for an exit strategy given how much of his success is dependent upon being in the Big 12 as currently structured.
