but you simply cannot extrapolate that he's a better coach than Muschamp based on winning percentage alone. Muschamp's teams have played much more difficult schedules in much more difficult conference.
Brohm looks to have Purdue playing much better. He's an offensive minded coach that is elevating their play. He may go on to be a great coach. Muschamp is a defensive coach. His teams try to limit you offensively and avoid mistakes. Much uglier production, that can still be effective.
His flame out year at FLA was a period where he had no QB play to speak of. Part of that is on him, but those teams were going to win with D or not at all.
