"better" recruits, here's a partial list of the 4-star players Mizzou has signed over the past 10 years or so who have flamed-out for one reason or another:

Mario Whitney
Fabian Bean

Marquis Doherty

Frankly, I have a lot more confidence in our coaching staff's ability to identify and judge talent than some recruiting service manned by geeks who have never even played or coached D1 football.
