I am not a hunter or a fisherman but I have no problem with those that do and use the meat. These people are simply harvesting the meat in the most efficient method possible. There is nothing especially cruel about their methods despite what the PETA types will tell you.
How is this any worse than snagging them individually with a huge hook and dragging them into a boat?
