This interview was from last Wednesday May 17th with Tom Ackerman on KMOX. I found it on their website under Sports Open Line Podcast if you want to hear the whole interview.

He goes over the big three returning players as well as each recruit. But the interviewer specifically ask about his expectations from these three.
They have been battle tested and he gives them credit for staying with a program that struggled. Now that they have other good players around them and don’t have to carry such a load, they can be the players they’re capable of being since they.
Terrance Phillips
His ability to make shots is an area he has improved since he saw him come out of high school
Though he’s fast with the ball, he has to improve his decision making, especially in traffic around the bigs.
He thinks he has the ability to be an elite defender
Kevin Puryear
He also has been shooting the ball well from three in practice
The one thing is talked to Kevin about is he’s a basketball player not a big man but a basketball player. He has to have the ability to run the floor, run to the rim, to catch and shoot up top, make plays off the dribble, be aggressive with the basketball to create mismatches. Two people he told him to think about and study are Draymond Green and Paul Milsap because they are similar to his size and can go inside or out. Make it tough for big guys to guard him outside and smaller guys around the rim.
Jordan Barnett
Barnett has the ability to play guard or forward with the ability to shoot outside and pull-ups. However they had him work with the post players so he can take advantage of being 6’7 and post up smaller players around the basket and get offensive rebounds.
