It is all about winning. Recruiting rankings are for nerd fans to wring their hands about. The people that fill the stands are there to see winning teams. If BO wins this fall, all is good and his job is safe. If MU sucks and the stands are empty for the late season games then the seat gets hot.

I follow recruiting for extra fun but winning is what it is truly about. If they win, then the previous recruiting classes were successful regardless of the rankings.
