Based on production of similarly ranked players and style of play, along with diminished roles projected, I came up with player projections for my predicted 9 rotation players for next year (including Jontay). I then compared these stats to where we would rank nationally based on this past year results. I did associate minutes to each player, can include if want to discuss that talking point. I found that we only have 2 double digit scorers, but a bunch of good scorers. Robertson is the toughest to project, but he was our only other double digit scorer.
Things to consider:
2015-2016 California Basketball, in my opinion CM's best team (if not being injured at the end of the season would have made the Sweet 16):
75 PTS 40 REB 13 AST 5 BLK 4 STL
Michael Porter: 19.2 PTS 11.8 REB 4.8 AST .8 BLK 2 STL
Jontay Porter: 9.4 PTS 7.4 REB 1.1 AST .7 BLK 1 STL
Tilmon: 8 PTS 5.2 REB .7 AST 1.7 BLK .7 STL
Barnett: 8.9 PTS 4.2 REB .4 AST .3 BLK .4 STL
Puryear: 8.3 PTS 4 REB .6 AST .2 BLK .3 STL
Phillips: 9.1 PTS 3.2 REB 3.8 AST .1 BLK 1.1 STL
Robertson: 12.1 PTS 2.3 REB 1.8 AST .1 BLK .8 STL
Harris: 5.8 PTS 2 REB 1.3 AST .1 BLK .8 STL
Roberts: 5.4 PTS 1.9 REB 1.2 AST .1 BLK .8 STL
Totals: 86.2 PTS 42 REB 15.7 AST 4.1 BLK 7.9 STL
RANKS: 5th PTS 2nd REB 47th AST 78th BLK 25th STL
